3 Ways to Wear a Hair Scarf
I love to wear a scarf in my hair to change it up. There are a lot of different ways to integrate one into your daily hairstyle. Today I’m going to show you three ways to wear it.
Half-Up
This is a great way to style your hair if you want to look a little more polished. I just pull back some of the hair from above my ear, while keeping a few pieces out in front to frame my face. This particular scarf is actually a ponytail holder with a scarf attached. The one that I have is out of stock, but here are some beautiful alternatives.
As a Headband Tied Into a Low Bun
I would wear this look to the pool or on a hot day outside to keep my hair off of my neck. To achieve this, you simply tie the scarf around your head making sure to leave the ends loose underneath your hair. Then you twist your hair with the ends of the scarf, wrap it into a bun, and use a clear hair spiral to secure it. This scarf is from Anthropologie from a couple of years ago, but any square scarf will give you the same look. I’ll link a few of my favorites below.
Knotted Headband
I love the look of headbands, but I don’t like wearing an actual headband. They tend to dig into my head on the sides and give me a headache. Tying a knot on the top gives me the look of the knotted headbands that are popular right now without any of the literal headaches involved. What are some of your favorite ways to wear a hair scarf?
