Target Tuesday
I always love everything that Target has to offer, but since I’m so short things tend to not fit me the way that they’re supposed to. However, this doesn’t stop me from trying things on since I just can’t resist those adorable styles and affordability. I’m here to keep it real, so I like to show what worked and what didn’t for my body type. Below I’ll show you how things fit and what I thought about them. I’m 5’1 and 100lbs for reference.
This dress would be so cute for fall with some boots and a cardigan or jacket. I really wanted this dress, but as you can tell it’s way too big for my frame. Unfortunately this dress was not a keeper for me. I’m wearing an XS. If you are taller or curvier than me, this would look great on you!
I love the plaid pattern on this shirt, but the fit was a little too oversized for me. This is also an XS. I’ve been trying to find some cute straight leg jeans to switch it up a little from my regular skinny jeans. I prefer my jeans a little bit shorter, but unfortunately Target doesn’t have a short option. Also, the pockets go down a little too far which isn’t very flattering for the backside.
I love the plaid on this blouse. The item description says red, but it looks orange to me. I sized up in the skirt to a size 0. It’s from Wild Fable, which is the juniors line, so I find that it can run a little small. The boots are from Target last year, but I linked a similar pair. These are currently the only boots that I have in my possession because the rest of them are in storage as we are in the middle of a move. I would probably wear a pair of black booties with this outfit instead.
I absolutely love this pinafore dress, which is also from Wild Fable. It’s corduroy with a floral print on it. The pictures just don’t do this print justice. This would be really cute with some knee high black boots. I am wearing an XS.
My little assistant is escaping in the background! This is a similar pair of pants to the ones that I tried on in the store, but these are a 00. I’m still not sold on the length, personally. My top is an XS and SO soft. The snakeskin belt is from Target too. They’re really stepping up their belt game this season.
